Vykin Awarded ESMARTS Subcontract
Tampa, FL, September 06, 2012 - Vykin Corporation was awarded a subcontract under the recently awarded Enterprise Support to Management and Resources for Technical Services (ESMARTS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to provide the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) with intelligence, technical, and management support services. Vykin was pleased to partner with our prime contract holder, BAE Systems on this effort. As a Small Business partner to BAE Systems, ESMARTS represents an excellent opportunity for Vykin Corporation.
The ESMARTS program is designed to provide access to a large quantity of qualified cleared personnel with skills in management and technical services support, which will allow NGA to more efficiently fulfill its mission of providing timely, relevant and accurate geospatial intelligence in support of national security. Some of the areas of expertise for these individuals include web development, analytical production, corporate communications, and financial and resource analysis.
This award is a follow-on contract to NGA's Support to Management Resources for Technical Services (SMARTS) contract which was awarded to BAE Systems in 2006, in which Vykin Corporation was a partner.
As a Department of Defense combat support agency and a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community, NGA provides imagery, geospatial and targeting analysis, along with image sciences and modeling for U.S. national defense, disaster relief and safety of navigation.
Vykin Corporation will have opportunities for our current and future staff to fill mission-critical support functions for our Nation's premier GEOINT provider. Opportunities include positions ranging from GEOINT functional support, Web and Multimedia Development, Operations Support, and several more supporting the entire NGA enterprise. We look forward to our role on the ESMARTS contract and further reinforcing our relationship with BAE Systems.
